MY STORY
I began doing pottery as a sophomore in high school, at a new school Pace Academy. I was extremely blessed to have a great teacher, Mark Knott, who guided me throughout the learning process. Weekly I spent 20+ hours in the studio slowly falling in love with art and finding something that I enjoyed other than basketball. I make pieces for fun and pottery is a way for me to escape from the chaos going on around me. Now at Yale, I teach pottery in my little spare time to my fellow peers to try and help give them a release from stressfulness of school.
